Snap Recordings is the leading, online provider of professional voice recordings for business telephone systems. You can order custom voicemail greetings, promotional on-hold messages, announcements, prompts, or any other type of telephone recordings directly from our website.

How does it work?

Using our online wizard, create professional quality telephone recordings and establish instant credibility with your callers. Simply register for a free account, choose your voice talent and music, type or paste your script into our message editor, and pay securely online. Your selected voice talent will record your script and our engineers will format the recording so that it is compatible with your phone system. We'll deliver your production within 3-4 business days or 1-2 days if you opt for rush delivery (available at an additional price).

How much does it cost?

Greetings, Announcements, Voicemails, Voice-Prompts:
$50 per 75 words (charged by total word count)
Background music: $25 per message

Cost per Message On Hold:
$99 for first 100 words and 1 background music track
$40 for each additional 100 words thereafter

Rush Delivery: $50 for the first 75 words and $25 for every 75 words thereafter
Proofreading: $12 per 75 words

How can I make changes to my order?

Any changes to an order after checkout that require re-recording will incur a fee.

Revisions Fee:

Messages without music:

  • Changes to script/Re-record Start at: $25 for the first 25 words; and is $1 per word there after.
  • Editing (no re-records): $25 for the first message edited and $5 for every message edited thereafter
  • Add Music Track: $25 per track per message

Messages with music:

  • Changes to script/Re-record Start at: $50 (for music license renewal and the first 25 words); and is $1 per word there after.
  • Music Change: $25 per track per message

Important: We are unable to make edits on orders after one year past their original delivery date.

What is an Editing Charge?

Any changes to your message that do not include re-recording will result in a charge of $25 for the first message edited and $5 for every message edited thereafter. 

What is Proofreading?

This is an Add-On purchase during the checkout process. We will correct grammar and misspelled words. We will not alter the structure of your sentences, but we will contact you if we feel your sentence should be modified.

When will my project be complete?

Standard delivery is 3 to 4 business days. Rush delivery is 1 to 2 business days.

What file formats can you deliver my recording in?

We can output files in the following formats:

I need my recording in English and in Spanish.

We feature several Spanish-speaking voices in our talent library. Just visit our Voice Talent Library and scroll down to the Spanish section to listen to their clips. Be sure to listen to their samples in the English section as well. Only voices that are bilingual in English and Spanish are able to read scripts containing Spanish and English.

Please Note: You are responsible for providing an accurate translation of your script into Spanish.

Can you translate my script to Spanish?

At this time, we do not have a translation service available; however our Voice Talents who are bilingual in English and in Spanish are able to read scripts that have already been translated into Spanish.

How do I get my recording into my voicemail system?

You may want to contact your provider prior to purchasing a recording to ensure you will be able to upload the message to your phone system. Most VOIP phone systems will allow you to upload your messages through your phone provider’s portal.

The end of my recording is cut off.

Please check the program in which you are listening to your recording. It may be set to "Fade Out." This is common in audio players like iTunes.

I don't see the charge for your services on my credit card statement.

Charges on your credit card will appear from "Voicewalk," rather than "SNAP Recordings." Purchases made through SNAP Recordings are secure and safe. We never store your credit card information for future purchases. Please contact us if you have any issues regarding charges. 

What if I don’t like the recording?

We guarantee that the voice talent you’ve selected for your order will match their sample on our website. If you feel the voice does not match, please contact our support department so we can review the recording and make any necessary modifications.

I don’t see the voice talent I used on my last order.

We work with real live voice talents, which means that we can’t guarantee they will always be available on our site. At times the voice you are looking for may be temporarily unavailable for reasons such as vacations, sick time, or they may be permanently unavailable. Please contact support for more information on the voice talent you are interested in. 

How do I save my messages?
